Tech arrived on time and acted professionally.
However, when it came time to diagnose the issue, he didn't do a lot of investigation. I felt that as soon as he heard the opener making clicking sounds (without no action happening) and then saw that it was a 2001 model, he declared that I needed a replacement. He gave me quote for over $1k (including tax). After the tech left, I did my own investigation (after doing some research on the internet), that it was a sensor that failed. The door finally opened but would only close if I held down the wired button. I replaced the sensors over the weekend using what I ordered from Amazon and everything works now.
Disappointed with the fact the tech seemed more eager to sell a new opener than trying to do a definitive diagnosis of the issue.

Carlou Dalir with Precision Garage Door, came on the right time on our scheduled day of service. One of our garage door's cables had came off the pulley. Carlou did an excellent job of diagnosing the problem and explaining what was needed to get it fixed to us. He also gave us the quote for the service and asked us before proceeding with the work. After he fixed one of the doors, he also looked at the other door that wasn't working properly and he was able to tell quickly that backup battery was the issue and after we connected the motor to the electrical socket (which was not connected earlier), it started working fine. Carlou also gave us few good tips on how to save the life of the backup battery and educated us with some garage doors tips/knowledge. We really liked his way of working and also the way he explains the problems to the customers. We were totally satisfied with his work.
