I’m going to go with Precision Door Service because I don’t think I’ll get a better price anywhere for what needs to be done. Because of an idiosyncrasy of this old house, there are adjustments that have to be made that otherwise wouldn’t have to be made, and of course that’s extra work. If I thought it was a bunch of bull, I’d be looking elsewhere, but Chris the tech, showed me everything and explained what needed to be done and why. I trusted his honesty and knowledgeableness. Precision Door has a good asset in him because he’s the first line of contact with the client and you get the feeling he’s thorough and he knows what he’s talking about. My alternative would be to rebuild the old rotting wood door I have and put an opener on it, but then I don’t know what it would look like or what kind of problems might come up; so this way at least I feel Ill get what I want a new door with an opener and windows!
