Tech was nice and arrived on time, however there was a communication error between the technician and the approval department at American Home Shield. I keep getting told that the garage door opener could not be replaced because the technician told the approval department that the motor was worn out, needed replacement, but was not up to code. It was not the motor that wasn’t up to code. My garage doesn’t have sensors installed. So American Home Shield would not cover the replacement because the “motor did not meet code”. I wasted my money and the technician’s time and still do not have a operational garage door opener. I have called and asked for this information to be cleared up, but Precision Door Service has not returned my call.
