The roll-up door on my single car garage was damage when it caught on the bumper of my car. Of the several companies I contacted Precision Door was the easiest to deal with. Within a few days a specialist (Justine) was at my residence to estimate the repair. A written estimate for each of three alternatives was provided within a day. The work was scheduled and completed within a week.
Nick did a five-star job by:
- replacing the damaged door in a few hours
- adjusting the seal at the edges of the new door to keep the cold out
- showing me how to lubricate the door to reduce noise and wear.

A while ago we had the same issue. Precision door came and the person explained everything really well. This time the person seemed less sure of what the problem was. The solution was to move a screw from a stripped hole to another where the wood wasn't stripped, but it doesn't explain why the little motor wasn't moving before. And if the force of the spring will eventually strip the wood again, this doesn't seem like a reliable solution.

Mike Rotermund from Precision arrived promptly in a company truck fully equipped with all the necessary repair parts. He had to replaced a cable and cut a new cable to length to match. Mike made the adjustments and during the process and was explaining the steps. Learned a lot from him on how a well adjusted door should operate. I recommend this company and will hire them again.
I had a bad experience from a fly by night outfit. They sent a contract technician (Middle Eastern accent) that caused the above problem. Stay away from this type of outfit just to save few bucks.
