Tech Alexander Seyss did a great job in repairing the garage door opener at my home. I originally thought it was just light bulbs that needed replacing but when a handyman came out and replaced, it ended up not working at all. I called Precision who had fixed a door on an outbuilding previously. As it turned out, the motor was bad and needed to be replaced, so got the motor, lights, remote in the car and button at the entry, all updated. Alexander was knowledgeable, efficient, friendly and explained everything. It all works perfectly now and no timer on the light, so I don't have to rush to get inside. All updated.

My garage door decided to open about 2 feet and slam shut. This happened several and would only open if I pushed it up at the same time. Obviously there was a problem. I called Precision Door Service and within 2 hours Chris Tiffany showed up with his trainee in tow. Chris figured out the problem (main spring was broken) and gave me two estimates to get it fixed. Although more money than I expected, I wanted to get it repaired as I want to park my car in the garage. Chris was excellent as explaining the process, had all the parts on his truck and got to work. Within the next two hours as promised, the door was repaired, all old parts gathered up and put on their truck and the garage was left cleaner than when they arrived. I’d recommend Chris and Precision if you have any problems with the door and opener. Job well done!

I had their 25 point inspection done 3 months back. The technician suggested that garage springs and all other parts are in good condition. Few days back my garage fell down. I think their 25 point inspection is useless. I called these guys to provide me a quotation to change the spring and they said $1200. I would suggest to keep away from their pricey service. It's not worth it.

We called Precision and asking for an estimate on a new garage door. Kat Alejo came to our home the next day and helped us determine what our options were and helped us select a door that fit our needs. She was knowledgeable, personable, and very competently helped us select the features we needed. She was a pleasure to work with and the estimate was fair. Garage door sensor failed, so garage door would not close. Duchaum Joseph (DJ) made the needed repair, did a thorough examination of the whole system, and pointed out additional routine maintenance I can do and future repair work that may be needed. After having cleaned out my garage and never having even used one side of my garage ever, I decided that it was time to upgrade and have an automatic garage door opener installed at my home. It was difficult deciding which garage door company to choose since there are many to choose from but I decided to check out Precision Garage Door company’s website. Had a great experience today with technician Robert Matthews. I went with Precision after their scheduler quoted me a price much lower than the competition. Turns out the extra labor time required to remove/replace the seals on my older wooden doors had been left out, and my charges ran an extra $169! This made my total higher than an offer from another company I had just passed up, and was understandably frustrating. Robert immediately took my concern on as his own and worked quickly with management to get me the price I was initially promised. He did a beautiful job on the doors and was a pleasure to work with. Thank you to Robert for great service and to Precision for treating your customer with respect!
