Austin Kephart did an excellent repair job at our home in Gig Harbor. He came to the door wearing a mask and was very quick to diagnose the problem. Austin repaired the door spring quickly and gave us advice for preventative maintenance on the door going forward. He also showed us how to program the remotes before he left as a bonus.

Drew called ahead of time to confirm job and arrived on time. I was having problems activating a new remote. I was anticipating replacing the overhead unit. Drew deducted the overhead was not allowing this particular remote to program. He sold me a different type of remote and all is well. I appreciate Precision Door Service expertise and courtesy. Carl Richardson was ahead of schedule so he arrived hours earlier than scheduled! And we had just scheduled our appointment within the hour. We were debating between repairing our garage door and getting a new door - we ended up doing both! Carl installed a new garage door spring, and fixed the roller which was slightly off and the cable. Same day service is a bonus!
Carl was very professional and seemed knowledgeable. He answered all our questions. We have a low clearance garage so our current garage door does not allow us to open up the car trunks fully. The new garage door will add 10-12 inches of clearance for opening our car trunks. Plus we ordered windows in our new garage door which will provide more natural light, and a better garage door opener. Due to COVID, it will take 9-11 weeks which is ok since we are working on other house projects!

The repairman was nice and it was easy to schedule an appointment. Unfortunately they don’t repair Wayne Dalton style doors. They would only do a conversion that was triple in price of a repair from another company. If they had asked which style door I had when I had made the appointment I wouldn’t of had to waste my time and find another repairman.

The Tech: Matthew Guerrero that worked on our garage was by far the most professional and complete service person to ever work on our house...inside or out. He is an asset to your company. Treat him well.
Your office practices are in far greater need of improvement. The current charge card machines your employees use need a receipt given directly to the customer at the time their card is used. I would very much have liked to have a copy of the contract or order for the proposed work to be done. This project was covered by insurance and there was nothing to pass on to the the insurance company except when the charges appeared on my monthly credit card bill. Paper Work is inexpensive but a necessity and a need for most large improvements or changes made to a house. Is there any sort of guarantee or warranty? If there is I would like a copy mailed to the address of the job site. Receipts of the cr. card charges as well as the proposed job as I previously mentioned. We too have bills to pay and issues to justify repair. Thank you for the opportunity to express this and perhaps help you out just a little if nobody else has told you this. Thank Matthew as well.
